Landslides and mass wasting of earth materials occur globally and can result in catastrophic loss of life and property. In the United States alone, property damage caused by slides and flows has been estimated to exceed $2 billion annuarlly. An Introduction to Landslides or Mass Wasting will provide the student with an understanding of the factors that contribute to slides or flows of earth materials, particularly in weak or poorly consolidated sediments. Dr. Font has committed himself to making this a quality learning experience to registered students and can be contacted via email during pre-arranged times to answer questions or clarify information.

          AIPG Accredited (3.5 CEU's max.)
