Accompany us on a tour of some selected outcrops through the type section of the basal Cretaceous Comanchean Series in central Texas. Within this area we find some of the best exposures of lower Cretaceous strata anywhere around the globe. In our coverage, we will emphasize various aspects of the development, stratigraphy, sedimentology, structure and paleontology of these units.
